Tradesperson

A skilled craftsperson who provides one or more specialized services such as structural foundation construction, electrical wiring and finish, or countertop fabrication and installation. Tradespeople tend to work under a homebuilder or general contractor, and typically provide a single specialized service, such as electrical, plumbing, or cabinet fabrication and installation. They are also referred to as “subcontractors,” (or “subs” for short).
